I was kinda surprised by the location of Martha. It's just a short walk from the train station and close to both Neustadt and Altstadt. Plus, they offer bicycles to use!

The room was spotless and the breakfast was DELICIOUS. A view of the garden from our window. Excellent home base for vacation in Dresden. Nothing beats being in martha dresden.
Hard to think of anything.

Perfect! Breakfast is variable dish with professional quality. A double room with an extra bed is quite spacious.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and they spoke good English, which was a rarity during my trip in Germany. The rooms were clean, spacious, and pleasant, with typically German bedrooms that had a slightly old-fashioned feel. I especially liked the walk-in shower in the en-suite bathroom, which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection, and I appreciated that they had hot scrambled eggs as an option.
All was great, no complaints!

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood across the river from the attractions of the "old town". The staff is friendly and the basic amenities, like the rooms with closets and a good walk-in shower, are well-maintained. The breakfast is a decent spread with the option of hot scrambled eggs if requested.
That there were no hot dishes for breakfast.

The hotel is located in a peaceful and beautiful area, just a short walk away from the Old Town and several restaurants. the rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was perfect, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the staff was always friendly and helpful, and the hotel had a lovely and attractive decor with an interesting architecture.
The Wi-Fi was slow and intermittent, which made it difficult to use for more demanding tasks.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. the location was perfect. Situated in a quiet neighborhood across the river from the "old town" attractions, it provided a peaceful and picturesque setting. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room, although slightly old-fashioned, had a charming and typically German feel to it. I particularly appreciated the walk-in shower, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. Lastly, the breakfast offered a variety of options, including hot scrambled eggs if requested. It was a great way to start the day.
Everything was okay and there is nothing that I believe could be improved.

The room was beautifully designed with an angular shape and a view of the garden. It was also very quiet, awesome for a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious, with a glass enclosure for the shower and a bright window. The mattress was a bit soft, but the pillow and duvet were cozy. The satellite TV had excellent reception, and both the bedroom and bathroom were clean. The reception staff were polite and spoke some English. The breakfast buffet in the charming garden setting was adequate. The hotel's location was convenient, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. All of this at a very reasonable price of around $100 for the room and breakfast. I have already recommended it to my son for his upcoming visit in June. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Comfy rooms and delicious breakfast We've just returned from a city break in a quiet neighborhood that was just a short stroll from the historic city center. the hotel rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. In particular, we loved the hardwood floors and the luxury bathrooms with walk-in showers. the breakfasts were amazing with plenty to choose from - eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, cereal, yogurt. We enjoyed eating in the elegant breakfast room which had a warm, traditional feel.
Disappointing dining experience Unfortunately, we had a disappointing dining experience at the restaurant adjoining the hotel, which looked high end and tempting, but the food was bland and unimpressive. overall the hotel itself made up for this, especially as it was in a perfect location for exploring the city.
